3 weeks later - I have a roof!

 

It has been about 3 weeks since I reached the 'need a roof' stage and I have been flipping back and forth between possible options. Well, in the end I went for the more expensive option - clear polycarbonate. The reason being I wanted loads of natural light, so that we could read, hang out and actually use the cabin. This was (if I do say so myself) a brilliant plan.

 

I measured up (which was the scary part as I don't have the best track record), ordered it and installed it within the week. The actual installation was OK, once I had figured out how to reach over the roof to attach the central bracket....yes more slightly dodgy balancing up a ladder.

 

The overall effect is pretty damn good - now it's just the interior to fix up.
