Secret Finn
DAY6
Feels like a proper structure now!
Today has been epic. Got all the walls up (really is like lego) and battened them together with some old planks and off-cuts. I then tackled, what I thought was going to be tricky, the main supporting frame. I purchased some 3x2's & 4x2's and lashed them together with (again purchased) metal brackets - hopefully you can see these in the photos.
This was surprisingly straight forward and I was able to use the pallet side walls as a guide for the beams placement, which was all part of the plan (yes I did have one).
It was just a matter of cutting the pallets to the profile of the beams - using my trusty jigsaw. I did try it by hand, but who was I kidding. All in all, very pleased with myself, maybe even smug :-)
